Hey Kyriaco,
No doubt the Cisco Webex partnership is a significant development.
I'd have to listen to yesterday's webinar again if a recording becomes available, but PG confirmed they ''have been working with Cisco for the past 6 -7 months making sure Nodestream interacts effectively with Webex, which it did."
He then confirmed the time line as being 6 - 8 weeks for launch of what would virtually be a new product for global Cisco applications.
TBH I was more interested in the question that came about Speedcast during his closing remarks - talk about cutting it fine!
The question basically asked, how big is this deal with Speedcast?
PG said it was massive.
To recap, the announcement: "Under the agreement, Harvest’s ultra-low bandwidth Network Optimised Livestreaming solutions will be resold
by Speedcast to provide remote communications services for customers across sectors such as maritime, mining and telecommunications."
Various industry newsletters provided more telling detail: "As part of the agreement between the two companies, Harvest's ultra-low bandwidth Network Optimised Livestreaming solutions will be integrated with Speedcast's SmartView solution.
I went looking on the Speedcast website, but couldn't find any mention of SmartView. Nothing came up on Google either.
Probably I didn't look hard enough.
Anyhow, I reached out to Paul Guilfoyle who kindly provided a link to Speedcast CEO Joe Spyetk's October Newsletter with a comprehensive update of SmartView.
"Speedcast’s network-optimized livestreaming solution, SmartView, can reduce maintenance costs and increase profits. By delivering real-time live content to personnel working in any location, SmartView increases asset availability and labor productivity and enables simultaneous review and decision making worldwide."
"The agreement between the two companies will extend Harvest's sales capabilities on a global scale. Speedcast's technology and applications portfolio currently has more than 3,200 customers in 140 countries, serving over 10,000 maritime vessels and more than 8,000 terrestrial sites."
Click on this link to read the entire SmartView update. Anyone interested in Harvest will see that the Products and images of SmartView look very familiar.

I can't make up my mind which deal is bigger.
In the long run it probably doesn't matter.
With these two deals, and more to come, Harvest has taken a giant leap forward and is now doing business at global scale with world-class operators in the satellite communications markets.
