For any given oiler quarterly production report for any given ASX listed oiler- production is more likely to decrease than increase- and Mr Market will act as if natural field decline is something new.
Most quarters crude and liquids production will be less than the preceding quarter. Gas is another story.
Crude and liquids usually increase subsequent to new developments coming on stream- then quarterly production begins to decline again.
