Not quite right. No-one has to take the jab but if one wants to work in designated areas
the jab is required. Many employers were going to legally demand vaccination anyway.
Coles, Woolworths and Aldi require all their staff to be vaccinated. Our closed border
except in restricted situations has meant that WA has not experienced the horror
in NSW and Victoria with massive protracted lockdowns hospitalisations and loss
of life. In a pandemic WA has been the most free of all the States due to careful
management of its borders
Also, employers have a duty of care to employees and customers and dont want to have to
close up if there is an outbreak at their business.
