1. To lock in finance. Would be a condition of most/if not all financers I'd presume. It at least seems to have been. Happy for someone to chime in with more info/correct me. You wouldn't have to commit all your product, just same to satiate the banks/big boys.
2. I can't remember which DFS came out recently. But the company concerned engaged Roskill to provide independent pricing models on lithium and they were certainly not remarkable. I think we have to remember lithium prices being consistent and reasonable is a good thing. Affordable EVs are a must for adoption and will raise all ships. Especially if a certain miner comes on board with its unprecedent resource size and cheap capex to control market prices.
