Hi guys if I may put forward this from the books I have read from Darryl Guppy. He suggests using two groups of multiple EMA's broken into short term and med/long term comparing them to s/t TA traders and l/t FA investors. The theory is as long as the s/t EMA's stay above the l/t EMA's then the stock is in a rising trend. As long as the l/t EMA's are rising, evenly spaced, then it is a fairly safe entry, and as you can see from the chart below in LTR's case, fairly easy to see the optimal entry areas where the s/t EMA's compress while staying above the l/t EMA's. Obviously we take into account other indicators to supplement these conditions. Probably not explained very well but did my best.
