Well Liberty,

I must confess I have not read the Koran.

I do not read Arabic.

I have only read interpretations of excerpts from it.

Mind you, extremists and hypocrites are found in all walks of life.

What catholic or christian would have sex with a little boy or girl?

What Mother or Father would sexually or physically abuse their own child?

What person would repeatedly rape a child such as occured here in Byron Bay only 1 month ago?

Why is the world so unkind?

Why?

Why?

Why?

People who commit these crimes against humanity come in all different shapes and sizes Liberty. They may or may not follow a particular faith.

It's the Human Condition to categorise and pidgeon hole. It allows us (the very pathetic human being) to target our hatred, to satify our instinctual need to lay blame, to fix the problem.

Well, I'm quite convinced that this latest chapter in the Clash of Civilisations will result in the planets ultimate undoing, unless of course we some how managed to stop, turn around and start walking the other way.

To honestly think that Putin, Bush, Howard or Blair, with a coalition of the willing or not, can win a war against an enemy which is impossible to define is the epitomy of ludicracy. To continually insist that the War on Terror is winnable is foolish.

It will just keep snowballing out of control whilst the quasi Super Powers of the world continue to be part of the problem and not the solution.

The bit I'm looking forward to so much is when China choose to stop observing and weigh in.

Ignorance can no longer be an excuse.
