Not sure they will spin off the metal plants.
It would not fit within ASM "mine to metal" ethos. Nor would align with recent statements from DW that he sees ASM having Dubbo and 4 plants operational by 2025.
I agree, it is possible, however, I think ASM as a company will be a more attractive prospect if they can provide from a mine to a metal (and potentially a magnet later down the line) all within the one company - a one-stop-shop if you like.
