AKIDA can't be sold to "just anyone." They will want to know where each chip goes and who owns it.
Part of this is they want maximum impact - they don't want chips to go to someone who is going to make an AI "Fart App" or "Not Hotdog app"

The other issue is security - BRN cannot sell AKIDA to China - Mx Smith from the US State Department has knocked on BRN's door and given them a reminder that their product holds strategic value to the US and their allies, so we'd be real appreciative if y'all be careful of who you sell your product to.
Not to mention, that $5000 or $10k price also includes access to BRN engineering support - if you consider the value of a hotline to BRN to work through implementation issues, that $5k or $10k becomes very good value indeed.
