Great that you put up your hand to grow your knowledge and experience, most on HotCopper have zero experience or qualifications in Mining yet continue to post dribble, pointless memes day in day out.

I'd love to hear @BlueSkies1711 or my old mate Jens attempt to answer your questions. Specifically;

1) What are the differences between a Mineral Resource & Ore Reserve ?
2) Why is it impossible for any company to extract 100% of an areas "Actual" Mineral Resource ?

I'll sit back and wait for Bluey to answer the above, if She can't I'll jump in and give you a quick rundown of how a Geologist develops a Mineral Resource & how a Mining Engineer uses that block model along with a whole heap of other data to design and optimise a mining operation.
