Understand what you are saying and I have always been in support of paying down the debt to manageable levels….debt isn’t all that bad. As for Merger and Acquisitions to grow the business I am all for too; however it has been around 4.5 years since a dividend has been paid, meanwhile Seven Group holdings is paying dividends at around 2% NEC is paying dividends at 4% and I remember about 2 years ago the suggestion that they may have a look at dividends, however nothing came of that.

Why do I continue to speak of dividends? Firstly, the money that they had received from FB, Google etc was a win full that they may or may not have been expecting….negotiations could have dragged on with that. With that in mind just some of that money could have been returned to SH’s, even if it was just 1 cent (around about 15 million?) In the scheme of things this would be a positive indication that the company is back on track and I believe it would help improve the share price. Acquisitions could follow.
