While in some cases it's unfair to blame the CEO as like all of us he can't control the actions of politicians and unelected catastrophist health officials, a number of previous predictions Mr Joyce made re passenger numbers have proven to be wild exaggerations.
The four hermit states of Qld/WA/SA and Tassie will experience COVID-19 (including deaths) among their populations. Based on previous form, one wouldn't trust these Premiers to keep state borders open even though for instance Tassie today stated its would 'open' on 15 December 2021.
And as an aside, why do these states deserve our holiday patronage when for so long they've 'comfortably' closed themselves off to the world? I'll be waiting till it's easier to travel overseas.
Similarly, the Vic Premier relishes lockdowns so I can't trust him not to plunge us back into that.
