People, sorry to throw my thoughts and toys out there yesterday.

It was a tough day for me as I live in Auckland and work in hospitality. Yesterday’s announcement from Jacinda basically means that after 10 weeks stuck at home in the world’s toughest lockdown, I’m now looking at least another five weeks of not being able to open the business. This is tough stuff as we head into our high season.

Holding ASN has been like watching a B grade movie in slow motion. Doesn’t mean I don’t believe in the story, I’d just like a little more direction from BBB. As a few have suggested we have our fingers in many pies but none have hit the oven yet.

It hasn’t been to me about the end goal, I’m sure we will eventually get there, it is about the opportunity cost to me personally over three years.
