So much effort in trying to predict the future based on maths, when investment is based not on maths alone, but in execution.

I spent 5 minutes reading all the post and the conclusion is I don’t think anyone is convincing enough.
it is sometimes easier to just assume you don’t know, but based your investment based on probability, but do it without anchor or bias. Easier said than done
I have allocated 6% of my portfolio into MFG in the belief there is a greater odds of upward trajectory than down. In all honesty I wouldn’t put my monies in their managed fund, there’s better returns elsewhere, but their approach is suited to less risk tolerant investors.
Don’t compare it to platinum, they’ve lost most of their research heads. It’s a sinking boat and the share price is a reflection.
in this business it is as much about reputation as it is about connections
