why worry about performance fee? because there is no claw back. investors have paid performance fees but global fund is under perfoming over 7 years.
without high fees and performance fees, maybe the investors will come out ahead of index. remember hamish got paid 700k bonus on miniscule gross return even when net return was below index. this is terrible outcome for investors and shows greedy.
