    I am no expert but why does everyone have to get vaccinated for the crisis to stop? We will never get herd immunity, the vaccinated can spread the virus albeit at a reduced rate to unvaxxed. The virus can survive in animal hosts. Vaccined people from overseas can bring the virus with them once we open up.
