With internet advertising you need to know the brand name to seek the product. With radio and tv advertising you are alerted to the product brand without needing to seek it. If you are interested in such a product you are passively connected to the brand. Management seems not to understand this, so those who would most likely want the product and purchase it, don't know it exists. Management would appear to not be interested in the Australian market, even though conventional advertising might mean matching overseas sales and reaching break even point. The NDIS also remains an untapped resource because potential clients are not made aware of the brand or product. I have found it is of no use suggesting to management that some of the advertising spend be diverted to test conventional national radio advertising where several other hearing companies successfully attract their customers and make known their brands. Furthermore this is an ASX listed company and why would you not want potential investors to know it exists?
