This would be correct wind if Capral were the only extruder in Australia. Did you know that a new extrusion plant has been opened here in NSW? This new plant and the addition of capacity at other Australian extruders goes against the claims that the local manufacturing businesses are being injured by product from overseas. Capral have over the past 10 years created oppourtunities for other more customer focused businesses to supply the aluminium market. These businesses are made up of new and existing extruders investing in local production and importers. With the new facilities being started here on the east coast local businesses should always have the option of local supply or buying from overseas.
