So whilst I was trying to find any association with Arteris Inc. I started to realise the real story is in fact Antonio J. Viana. I think others have mentioned the significance of his appointment to the board before.

He joined the board at Arteris in November 2016 and at the time they praised his extensive background in the intellectual property space, in particular IP commercial operations.

Then if you read the article about them securing their 200th customer in my above post you see the rapid growth of there IP sales over a relatively short period.

"The 200th customer milestone quickly follows the company's announcement of its 150th customer in November 2020 and its 100th customer in 2018, reflecting Arteris IP's rapid growth as semiconductor design teams license the company's technology"
