Having US$ is a short term position. The 50 / 50 i originally proposed is not.
Further it is just a part of a business to control cash and money. I work for a software company. It is standard business practice to hedge and have money in both your own country and your branch countries.
We are in trouble if OZL believes say managing money, or project management or any other aspect of a business, is not their core business. I am quite disappointed by their attitude.
