Lets hope the MRE once all the drilling is done reflects what is in the upper end of the exploration target numbers for Kavanagh Spitfire and Nugent.
That would increase the current MRE to circa 12.5mt. That may well be extremely optimistic as the earlier dispatches, before all the success and additional placements, grants and Kamatsu funding leading to the talk of a longer mine life and feeding the hungry plant was for a mineral reserve of 4 mt.
Maybe its more realistic to expect the lower end of the exploration numbers which would bring us in at 7.8Mt plus a wad if the Cu price allows the cut off grade to be lowered.
When you look at the plan view of the mineralisation there is vast area of mineralisation. To put it into perspective the purple area in spitfire is about 150m x150m which I presume is indicative of nothing given the sections and forecast target numbers
The spitfire target is 400m deep and a minimum expectation of 400KT (about 150,000 m3) which would require an average cross-section of 370 m2 i.e. 60 m X 6 m. I say that because the only drill hole we have seems to be KtDD 206 which intersected 6.15m at 1.39%cu and 0.15g/t Au and the sectional elevation of the spitfire lode shows two separate lodes each about 35m wide.
We will be able to stop dreaming and be elated or disappointed in the not too distant future.
