Hyundai Australia’s record FCEV long-distance run in NEXO gazumped by Toyota
Toyota has gazumped Hyundai and set a new Guinness world record for the distance travelled on a single tank of hydrogen fuel, with the new-generation 2021 Toyota Mirai fuel-cell electric vehicle covering more than 1000km.
Beginning their journey in Orly, France, the team comprising a Toyota engineer, product manager, PR and hydrogen fuel specialist managed to cover a total distance of 1003km on just 5.6kg of liquid hydrogen.
