This EV versus HV vehicles puts me in mind of the VHS versus Betmax argument. Clearly the Betamax technology was superior to VHS but the uptake made VHS the winner. The passage of time has now killed VHS in favour of DVD and now even DVD is looking like this too will pass.

Maybe Hydrogen is the future but not in the short term. For me- being able to charge my car at home while I sleep plus maybe the ability to use the EV storage in my own home is a very powerful incentive. (I cannot do this with Hydrogen at home)

It sort of does not matter which is the better technology. The uptake will tell the tale.
I want an EV and I don't want a HV I don't think I am alone, but que sera sera.
