PS I am one of expats who lives in these high rise apartments. I am in my sydney residence.
"Wealthy" does not make them rich. In context I and many of the residences in both locations can buy a Tesla Model S or any other EV in Sydney or Seoul but I dont.
For people who has a home garage, look at charging at a station as an after thought "once in a blue moon".... But if you live at place without easy access to power or street parking like NY...... Charging takes totally different meaning.... PAIN
In Sydney in my high rise there is no power point In Seoul in my high rise there is no power point.
In Sydney Strata raised a case for $300,00 communal charging point -> got rejected. Second motion to run industrial power points to all car parks lol $780,000 capable of charging 25 EV. Note there are couple of hundred parking spots but if 30 plus are charging it will melt cable -> got rejected
