Tis funny really you always have the Bears & the Bulls and they will both be right at some point. A committed Bear is committed to their cause as per the Bull.

I can remember some years back Gann fellers calling the slump of all slumps, for a long time during that period I guess they were shorting and missed out on a big Bull run. However eventually they got their call and probably made their money during this time. Now they are back to their continued efforts of Bear songs, whilst again the Bulls make money.

In saying this in the back of my mind, I feel the Bears sometime not in the too distant future again will be able to sing their song but maybe not just yet. I do really think they may have it though. So far Govts world wide have been able to put bandaids on however did not really fix the problem that caused it.

In fact from what I understand they have only made it bigger! The stimulous packages, for one have provided a peseudo repair. Signs of recovery they report due to a little increased spending. So what happens now that the increased spending will decrease as the stimulous packages are reduced? Unemployment increases as they have suggested? and possible re fall back into rescession.

Have people really started saving instead of building credit? U.S.; I remember reading recently starting to return to non conforming loans etc. Is this the reason there has been a slight recovery there? if so it is these loans that started the ball rolling down hill, has nothing really been learnt?

I really do not know when and if, but have to admit I think the bears have a pretty good argument, however Govts seem to have this skill of putting off the inevitable. Maybe they can keep the game up though I really do not know. The debt is huge now, can they really just keep that old printing press going? or is that a squeak and squeel I can hear in the back ground as the bearings start to grind.

It is a bull market for now, and looks to me to be heading higher however dont get too cocky as the Bear may just get the last call!
