In regards to supermarket supplies, the big chains will end up stocking several tests. Just as they do with other product lines including milk, toilet paper, cold and flu tablets etc. They do this firstly for product offering to consumers, and secondly to mitigate against supply constraints if one of their suppliers were unable to deliver upon their contracted obligations for the supply of produce/goods on time.

I'd love to see them secure something with the supermarket chains, but I suspect this will be at an opportunity cost of higher profit margins forgone on the sale of the test to pharmacy chains. Coles and Woolies are pretty demand savage when it comes to procurement contracts!

I'll like to see a deal of AT1 + airlines as RAT should be standard protocol for passengers disembarking from international flights and I think some states like WA, Qld and SA may insist on RAT for domestic flight protocol also; hopefully it will become as usual as the O2 mask safety training that is conducted when boarding !
