I disagree entirely. I don’t think posco will give two hoots about the equity deal. That’s not their game here. If they were an investment fund I’m sure they would be pushing to get the deal done as low as possible… but they want the supply. The equity deal is more about positioning than the investment. I’ll be stunned if this goes back anywhere near 10c on the absence of a total market meltdown… more chance of it hitting 25c in my view.
if the resource is as good as it is… and our leadership is as good as they are then posco aren’t in the drivers seat and we have no reason to be pushing ourselves back toward a $200m market cap to get an off take done.
