Dont be defensive if your sitting on a loss...im somewhat of a gold bug and I know how it feels being in a value of loss for a period of time... that is if you are... Every sovereign needs US $ as a form of monetisation in a cycle of a balance of trade...thats not to say Gold will be going up or down in a cycle of the US balance of trade when they eventually borrow off the EU banking syndicates so they can swap through the LIBOR 30 y T Bills....Gold will be going up but nowhere as much as a gold miner...
Australia through its balance of payments in the last 3 months has sold off a lot of gold to pay for its debt, albeit at a 22% GDP as of last fiscal minutes through the RBA....whilst that is a nominal GDP number, we will see once we get the new data of unemployment I guess...what the next leg up of nominal will be...after todays band has now been revised the yard stick going forward will bode well for a basket of commodities....im all cash now...looking for somewhere to go and trade it...but at the moment, nothing is making sense to me...something is just not right...and I can not put my finger on it....
EVN is a long term hold, with great management and foresight..I was a contractor for them once upon time...and they are tight tight tight....
