There has been so much hopus bogus euphoria, espeiclaly in the media by the then Anaconda, that the market has turned sour on nickel laterites.

The recent adverse events that occured with Anaconda (kna Minara), Centaur (Cawse, plant now owned by OMG, and most of the tenements bought by Heron recently), and Preston (Bulong, plant now owned by Lion Ore, mineral rights owned by Heron), left a sour taste in peoples mouths.

These adverse events was Heron's "You only get one Siberia, Cawse, and Bulong in a life time", so they bought everything in sight, when everyone else considered it to be a dirty.

Now they have nearly a billion tonnes of ore grading 0.70% Ni and 0.05% Co, which makes this the largest Nickel deposit in Australia and the fourth largest nickel deposit in the world.

What is of importance here and anyone that has any knowledge about mining, dnatron exluded cause he lives in the Minara dream world - (mind you Peter Johnston did a wonderful job) is that

this ore can be screened to produce a Leach Feed grade of greater than 1.5%Ni, refer recent announcement.

Heron went about their business and now are in a position to proceed further.

The market is still sceptical about nickel laterites, but since BHP gave the go ahead on Raventhorpe, and the tonnage is only a 1/4 of what Heron's got, the market is slowly warming up to heron.

This would eventually continue and the share price could double (50cents) from current prices (25cents) and double again and again and perhaps again.

Just read the recent (couple of months) announcements.
