They sell materials, that largely supply to the retail and hospitality sector whether they go through other manufacturers first or not... Therefore quarterly reports comparing to previous years are the only way to accurately assess for growth.
Compare to previous years allows for an accurate assesment of growth taking into account seasonality.
If they compare quarter on quarter then you are mislead as they are selling to different regions, with different holidays, seasons, work regimes, etc and you haven't taken any of that into account.
All in all another good report. Growth, R&D, community investment, and year on year product sales increased in a high growth field.
