Do the maths instead of making stupid comments on a paper from the middle of last decade

Two main costs go into Hydrogen, Electricity and electrolysers.... Both of which are now available to let us produce Hydrogen for $1/kg onsite in the Pilbara. No transport, no public grid, just straight into green iron factories.

Down ramp all you want, I don't mind, I'm buying up.... the maths makes sense, it will be cheaper than coal, it will be better for the environment, and Fortescue will be the ones making the billions instead of the coal companies.

Thats in Australia, Saudi has gone even cheaper this year.




H2 take 50kwh to make 1 kg.
So once prices reach $10/Mwh here, its only $0.50 of Solar to create 1KG.
PEM costs in your OLD article had a guess of $800 USD in 2030, well its already $225 today!

So basically if we can produce electricity at under $17/MWh, we are cheaper than coal @$60/tonne
