Really ? very few accidents are caused by equip/maint failures ? Maybe you could advise boeing of that , i'm sure they would be pleased to know the lawsuits for the 737MAX crashes are nothing to worry about ( and they are about the most recent deadly flights ) . We all know fatal airline crashes are relatively uncommon but they do still happen . And yeah ALL MAJOR AIRLINES have similar safety records based on T/L but do any of them have Qantas' safety record ???
Over the years i have heard so many "google" experts airing the truth ( or at least what they read somewhere ) and it is all just noise , go and actually work in aircraft engineering , see what really goes on THEN come back and let me know .
And no-one needs to " spread fear about safety issues " ...... it is all documented and is very real , it may not mean an aircraft is going to imminently fall from the sky but some of the things i have seen and heard about would have you in total disbelief and they don't make it to main stream news but i guarantee you wouldn't want to be flying on some other operators aircraft if you did know.
Qantas is not perfect , had a few incidents along the way but when i fly i like to know that that aircraft does not leave the gate unless it is as safe as possible and with the best trained pilots in the world .... and that is fact .
