I can only talk about what is in the public domain. Frustrating at times but that's the way it is. I know that it is a fervent desire to drill ASAP. They have said they are pursuing permits so 'hopefully' very close. I am verrry relaxed about the process because I believe it will only be a matter of days here and there. Worth noting that even though other explorers will be deserting the Barkly region in coming weeks as the temps soar to mid 40s, Inca will be working through the majority of the wet season as Jumping Spider and Roadhouse are very close to the main arterial bitumen road. This also ensures rig availability, they are hard to procure at the moment.
I have spent the past 3 weeks preparing for deployment and expect that it could come at any time. It literally could be today, it isn't over yet I KNOW that NTGS is keen to see work progress by all explorers so would expect expeditious approvals.
As a general principle, I think we can put 2 and 2 together and assume that it will be soon. If it wasn't going to happen as predicted by the company I believe they would have to say something. Hence, I predict current telegraphing by the company holds true, sometime in November. ICG present at Noosa Conference in less than two weeks and that would be an opportunity for the company to update us all if not before.
All guess work but I'm guessing I will be at the conference and then underway very shortly thereafter. If it doesn't happen that way I'll head up with a shovel and start on the open pit along 20kms of Mt Lamb!
