• The marketing approach has been structured jointly byFYI and Alcoa. HPA product development continued over the quarter to address specific requests from potential customers with the focus on oneoff-take group in particular which is involved in the battery separator industry.
• deferred trial production run is on schedule to commence 16 November
• FYIreceives positive results from the Future Battery Industries CooperativeResearchCentre's (FBI-CRC) Legacy project studies which indicated waste may be developed into an economically profitable by-product
• Thediscussions with a number of parties with regard to supplying renewable energy for the project is ongoing
• Subsequent to the end of the quarter, the Company has progressed the R&D claim for FY2021. The provisional claims totals approximately $1.0m and is expected to be received in the December quarter.
