I have known this technology for more than 10 years (through the Cho group), including the larger shareholders. This product has been used on humans for a long time, with great success, but in China. I personally know someone that had prostate cancer who flew to China for this treatment and was cured. The process they are going through now is for Australian medical regulation requirements (which will then provide an easy flow into other western countries) and to further validate and prove the technology in other use cases (like skin cancers etc).
Looking at the full history of the stock price is irrelevant. Cho group took this company over in 2018, which is available on their website given from the 24th of December 2018 there was a change in directors notice and that is the only history of announcements, Cho group clearly took over to access an already ASX listed company to operate under (in the med space), rather than going through the listing process of a fresh new listing. This is a common strategy, especially in the medical trials when the previous trials (Invion looked at lupus, chronic inflammation, high blood pressure and others) didn't yield the clinical trial outcomes they hoped for.
It is good news based on the current medical trials that are important or to evaluate the current management when they became management, not the entire company history.
