There are several Johnny-come-latelys in the NN field, such as Syntiant, Hailo, Innatera, GraiMatter, many of whom have somewhat clunky solutions, which I would classify as Frankenstein circuits.
I'm wondering to what extent the need to design around Akida patents has influenced these, in my opinion, less than optimal arrangements.
