Im not quite sure your calculations are correct. By all means correct me if I am wrong. but...
That would be the size of the pit if it was to be filled with 150mt (150mL) of water.
Doing a quick search I found that 1 cubic metre of iron ore weights approximately 3 tonnes as oppossed to 1 cubic metre of water which is obviously 1 tonne
