Bit more Tmall Singles Day data coming through now, for the first 8 days of pre-sales A2 is currently ranked 4th.
For comparison, last year at this point they were ranked about 10th.
In similar sales earlier this year (the 618 festival) A2 didn't do as strongly in pre-sales but then did much better in the main festival, possibly because they didn't do as much promotional pricing until the main festival period. I'm not sure if they are running heavier promotions earlier this time or whether they are just performing better. Hopefully they achieve a similar ranking for the main event on 11/11 (where they came in third last year).
