It's probably of only passing relevance but I wonder what percentage of the medication contained in a new skin patch actually gets transferred into the recipient? When it is discarded after three days, is the medication therein FULLY exhausted... or is there a 10% residue?... or a 30% residue?... or a 50 or 60% residue?... or... I wonder what effect these residues, world-wide, are having on the environment as a whole, and on individual species in particular?
