S3 have a vested interest in not seeing the VUL share price drop, hence the short squeeze article to try and influence holders to not sell/retail to buy.
A short squeeze was never going to be likely: there were circa 1.1m shares sold short; the volume traded on Friday was over 8m.
This group has possibly done more harm to retail investors than the shorts ever have.
