Oh will they just?? My thoughts - while your money is in a 'holding pattern' you are missing opportunities to make money elsewhere.
It's the cost of lost opportunity and I truly believe that if you are confident in your trading ability that you will make back your losses more quickly by trading out of it.
But just my opinion - to each their own.
