re: who on hc trades us stocks overnight
Hi Costics,
I would welcome some form of Global Forum (not necessarily restricted to the USA).
An increasing number of HC members are either trading globally, or have the means to trade globally. Indeed, through ASX-Worldlink, the opportunity is there for investors to actively trade the USA market. You don't even need a USA based broker to do this.
I have my Worldlink account with Smith Barney (for USA investments), and direct broker cover for my UK, European and near region investments.
If we had, for example, a USA Forum, I would be able to talk more about some of my favourite USA stocks (both in the telco and tech sector, as well as in the industrial, energy and services' sectors). One of my favourites in this regard has been Tyco (now above $31.00 compared to $12.00 when I first entered 2 years ago).
On balance, a good idea. Hopefully, it will gain some traction with HC management.
