You'd better do some more research, farmers do and the only real down side it is slow to release. It might not suit all soil types and might not be widely used in Australian. But it is use and Carbon incentives are being paid in North America/Canada for applying it instead of DAP/MAP etc. I am not saying Wonarah rock is suited for direct application, it may well be I haven't looked into it. What I am saying is the switch to applying more rock phosphate will end up seeing overall more demand rock phosphate as a whole.
