a lot of greenies love property, particularily those with big mortgages
they can say they are into simple "non materialistic" life in tune with the environment but they would have to anyway...lol
best example I can think of is that woman on ABC radio Deb "alan partride" Cameron who is always banging on about the enviroment and rallies most vehmently against corporate greed all those money hungry people into shares. But she salivates at the mention of property, a big ticket consumer item.
