Ah 2000 .
We don't take ourselves too seriously on the first Tuesday of November down under. A great day for mate ship and over indulgence.
,
Wasn't todays Melbourne Cup a beautiful thing to behold. How many lengths can you win the cup by. ?
You have bought back memories of my childhood when there was a lot of talk about the hoards of whinging poms that were invading our shores.
You can rest easy in the knowledge that you won't be the only one complaining about the update we got today.
If your not happy with going from
* 5.9k units in Q1 to
*7.9k units in Q2 to
*10.1k units in Q3
Not much point complaining as it won't change anything in this space.
Not sure there is a push for dual branding. Its good to market the Vmoto company through the products with Vmoto branding IMO. Charles has learn't some hard lessons in the recent past with acquisitions which I'm sure is why he put his toe in the water with Super Soco through the strategic alliance which led to the JV manufacturing and distribution agreement. That was thought to be one step closer to a merger. One has to wonder if relaunching the Vmoto brand signals not getting any more deeply involved with Super Soco. I would prefer not to be diluted as I see the big future being in B2B customers that will replace their bikes on a regular basis and the B2C business as being a fight for every single sale in a very competitive market place.
We would be much better served using the cash balance to forge links with B2B customers to secure our supply deals than merging with super soco in my opinion.
The Bird group is a family company and the oldest brother and prime mover died suddenly earlier this year so it's not surprising that the MOU has been on the back burner.
The hard evidence that justifies a higher share price is in the consistent growth in sales performance and profitability. Don't forget this time last year we were trading at a PER of 42. Its not difficult to get to a much higher share price. Do the maths and you will have the answer to your question.
