Sometimes you can over analyse stocks in terms of motives and be scared by things that aren't actually there. The only thing you have to be afraid of is 'fear itself'.
You need to look at where this stock has come from in such a short time frame, given it's only been 7 weeks since the initial announcement that sparked such a rally in the shareprice from 10c up to 80c+ in such a short timeframe. Even now as people are lamenting the shareprice sitting at 40c+ it's still up 300% since mid August!!

Just think for a second about how slow things go at your workplace, slow decisions etc (unless you work for a dynamic and agile organisation) and see how far we've come in 7 weeks.
1) We've got confirmation that MMR is proceeding to 85% acquisition of PEL-11.
2) Explanation of the Advent share structure and the interrelations between GBA/ Talbot Group etc (it's all in black and white)
3) Confirmation that the money raised is PRE-IPO and that drilling will be in 1st half 2010. This means that if Advent find gas, the subsequent float of Advent will be multiples of where is, the float premise would be based upon confirmation of find which would mean they could name their price in terms of IPO price.
4) Engagement of Pareto Group to raise funds for some or all of the capital requirements of Advent.
5) A SPP plan for MMR holders to enable MMR to retain or at least reduce the dilutionary affect of the PRE-IPO capital raising. This confirming a 43% to 50.5% fully diluted stake in PEL-11.
6)EPBC Act forms lodged, critical in the sequence of any drilling or exploration of the tenement.

I bought in sub 20c..sold half at 75c, carried free so I have no fear. Once you remvoe the fear, you can focus on the potential of the company and look beyond the day to day movement of the stock price.
