If the vote goes through so be it. It certainly doesn't mean that there will be a permanent ban on any mining involving trace elements of Uranium. Any decision can be reversed just as easily with another vote especially if this fragile Coalition begins to fracture.

GGG will still have a Tier 1 resource and a plan to mine it. After years of prudent negotiations it met all the environmental and development conditions demanded by the last Government. It must now must deal with the new Government whose members, solely to get elected, ran on an anti-Uranium agenda which in some cases reversed previously held views. We all know contrarians do well in elections by shouting about just one issue e.g. immigration, refugees, uranium etc etc. Prancing around in slogan emblazoned T-Shirts certainly works because it attracts uncommitted voters who like a circus. Everone likes a clown it appears.

But now the new Government must govern and I would suggest that shifing the goal posts 5 minutes before full-time does not look good for a supposedly pro-mining Government looking for investment.

There will be discussions and I believe compromise between the Government and GGG otherwise the chances of any other mining company investing in Greenland is as remote as Greenland itself.

On another note, all the naysayers with absolutely no skin in the game (except GBB with his one share) are piling on. For what purpose? No one asked for their commentary or listens to it. They are on their own description big-time investors in other stocks but yet have time to spend all day posting on the GGG blog. Go figure. I suspect they are all on welfare sitting around in a singlet and shorts and living on a diet of potato chips. Time for them to move on and find another share for them to trash.
