It's one of the main reasons why I stay on these forums, the chance to learn and share with others... I am sure we will soon see many more contributors come on board CHM adding even more depth and quality of discussion.

Cardinal rule though for biotech, is that you should always let the data guide you. Companies that don't have anything to hide show you their data.. those that do, give you pretty pictures, marketing spin and catch phrases.

If you take a risk on solid data, and something goes wrong.. then you will at least learn something from that experience that you can apply in future. You can also learn a lot from what other companies are doing and have done.. and you come across some pretty inspiration people along the way. Dr Jim Olsen is one of them, and I eluded to the company he runs Blaze bio. They use Chlorotoxin to help surgeons see tumors more easily by 'lighting' them up with their product called Tumor paint (trial is called BLZ-100).

While it is true knowing a little can be dangerous, but with some self guided education.. it won't be long until you know enough to be dangerous.
