I don't think one man did it either.

However, as the leader.....it is clear that he didn't waver from his perspective, when others might have.

That implies Reagan one way or another had his view adopted as the official US policy.

As the leader......one gets the gong when they are wrong...but they also get the credit when they are right.

Reagan not only was right....but he was right....for the right reasons.

Maybe his acting skills got him over the line....but whatever it was that he used to persuade his country.....thank god that he did.
