Ok, getting away from cryptos and conspiracy theories, on the back of dovishness from the US, UK, and European central banks gold had a great rise last night and silver followed. Hopefully, the run continues and the precious metals bull market resumes. In the bull market of the 00’s industrial metals and in particular iron ore outperformed first, then gold and silver followed. The Aussie rose to above parity with the US dollar. I am thinking precious metals, like last time, will out perform industrial metals, in this case copper, nickel and all the other new green revolution metals and resources (lithium etc.) in the latter stages of this new bull market. And adding a cherry on top, I am of the thinking the Aussie won’t perform any where near the 00 decade given that our major export is iron ore which is not as essential to the green revolution as the other metals, copper etc.
