I dont see how you can make direct comparisons between the cost of thorium disposal for nolans vs yangibana vs mt weld. arafura is planning on processing on site, hastings is planning on processing a few hundred kilometres away and lynas processes in malaysia. if you are trucking your ore to another location (or shipping it overseas) to refine it and remove the thorium before taking that somewhere else for disposal of course you are going to be paying more to do that. and of course you are going to require a lower thorium content to be viable. applying the economics of fundamentally different processes and to fundamentally different processes is nonsense.
